Michelle Schmitzer

Michelle has 10 years experience in the mosaic industry which includes teaching mosaics and selling mosaic supplies.

Her passion for the art of mosaics has seen Michelle conducting classes for the Hunter Community College for the past five years and also hosting regular workshops to provide people from all levels with the opportunity to master their own artworks.

Michelle has extensive experience with the design and development of commissioned mosaic art including the production of a number of larger projects. One such project was the Kurri Kurri Towns With Heart Project at 2.5m2.

She understands the need to ensure the products have longevity and are of the highest standards and as such always use products suitable for both indoor and outdoor application.

These products include glass, marble, ceramic and smalti, sourcing and using only the best, with the glass being high quality Italian products. The utmost pride is taken in the creation of each piece and this is also reflected through her choice of products.

Michelle understands the right projects can create a new cultural atmosphere for an area and through the placement of a series of projects, can also offer a whole new identity.

Due to the nature of any outdoor work having the potential to deteriorate, Michelle and Dynamic Mosaics are committed to developing an appropriate maintenance program for any piece of work and can include this in the project scope.

With a thorough understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety requirements associated with the art and teachings, Dynamic Mosaics ensures all guidelines are communicated and adhered to. All outdoor work created can be developed off-site and transported.

Michelle is more than happy to work with you on transforming even the simplest of ideas into your own masterpiece.
